NYC DOT Seeks Community Feedback on Lower East Side Streets

We joined neighbors for the Trick or Streets event on October 28 to celebrate Open Streets on the Lower East Side. Check out photos from the event below!

NYC DOT is now collecting community feedback on Open Streets along Orchard Street (Delancey to Grand), Broome Street (Allen to Ludlow), and Canal Street (Orchard to Essex). The survey asks how people use these corridors and what they would like to see, from seating and greenery to pedestrian improvements, loading zones, and community programming.

Responses will help DOT understand local priorities and inform future planning for streets that serve our residents, businesses, and visitors.

Take DOT's 10-minute survey to share your feedback.
